# 12.7 Config Profit and Cost by Team

This function helps configure tracking of expenses and profit by team and by month.

Example : Project A have 03 team process with in 03 months

Team 01: Join in 03 months

Team 02 : join in 01 month

Team 03: join in 02 months.

This functions will be config how many percent workload of each team and each month.

### Configure revenue/cost allocation by team

**When to use:** When you need to declare the **allocation percentages** of revenue/cost across teams (jobs) for each accounting period — the basis for the management profit/loss report by team (see [12.8 Cost and profit report by team](/english-1/utilities-module/input.md)).

> **Business example:** For period 06-2026, allocate shared cost to team A 60%, team B 40%.

To configure revenue/cost allocation by team, proceed as follows:

1. Enter the **Period** to configure as `mm-yyyy`.
2. Add a row on the grid: choose the **Master team** and **Detail team** (press **F3**), enter the allocation **Percent (%)**.
3. Click **Save** to finish.

* **Operational notes:**
  * Enter a **From period** and click **Copy** to reuse the previous period's configuration and adjust it, instead of redeclaring from scratch.
  * The percentage must be greater than 0, and the Master–Detail team pair must not repeat within the same period.
